Farmhouse Flagstones

Interior Flagstones Sale

Proudly 100% hand made in Great Britain

Our traditional hand-crafted flagstones are made-to-order with care and precision in our Gloucestershire workshops.
We do not import cheap mass-produced stone from the other side of the world.

Receipt, Inspection and Returns

Please read and understand these terms of sale, prior to placing your flagstones order.

Receipt and Inspection

We will of course do our utmost to ensure that items are packed carefully and securely to avoid any possible damage in transit.

Goods despatched by Farmhouse Flagstones using a carrier, courier, post office or any other means must be inspected and signed for on delivery. Any damage or shortage should be notified immediately to Farmhouse Flagstones’ office by phone, confirmed by letter, email or fax.

Farmhouse Flagstones will not be responsible for damage reported after that period.

ATTENTION! Please sign delivery notes accordingly. No claim for compensation can be made once the delivery note has been signed “received in good condition”.

Carrier’s delivery notes should be marked “unchecked/damaged” if damage to the packaging is obvious or if there is a shortage in the number of packages.

A copy of that note should be sent to Farmhouse Flagstones immediately.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods to us or our suppliers, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

Immediate Action

  1. To protect the flagstones from damage during the delivery process we put corrugated cardboard between the flagstones. Please make sure you remove the cardboard straight away. If the cardboard gets damp or wet it can leave staining on the flagstones.
  2. All materials once delivered should be kept completely dry. On no account must installation commence if the flagstones are damp. If they become damp then they must be thoroughly dried out before being installed.
  3. Once your order is delivered the flagstones should be removed from the pallets as soon as possible. Failure to do this can result in shading, or browning marks appearing on the face of the flagstones.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

We do not hold any stock and all orders are made to the customers’ instruction. You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days from delivery, if there is a defect with the order.

However, you must ensure that the goods remain unused and are retained in their original packaging and in a saleable condition.

Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you.

Your refund will be paid within 30 days of the date of cancellation provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us or our suppliers in the condition they were in when they left either us or our suppliers.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods to us or our suppliers, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

Returned goods received in a damaged condition for any reason will not be accepted for restocking.

A restocking charge of between 15% to 33% will apply in all cases unless it is agreed that the return forms part of an exchange for an alternative purchase.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way.

If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
