Receipt, Inspection and Returns

Please read and understand these terms of sale, prior to placing your order.

Receipt and Inspection

We will of course do our utmost to ensure that items are packed carefully and securely to avoid any possible damage in transit.

Goods despatched by Farmhouse Flagstones using a carrier, courier, post office or any other means must be inspected and signed for on delivery. Any damage or shortage should be notified immediately to Farmhouse Flagstones’ office by phone, confirmed by letter, email or fax.

Farmhouse Flagstones will not be responsible for damage reported after that period.

ATTENTION Please sign delivery notes accordingly. No claim for compensation can be made once the delivery note has been signed “received in good condition”.

Carrier’s delivery notes should be marked “unchecked/damaged” if damage to the packaging is obvious or if there is a shortage in the number of packages.

A copy of that note should be sent to Farmhouse Flagstones immediately.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods to us or our suppliers, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working from days from delivery.

However, you must ensure that the goods remain unused and are retained in their original packaging and in a saleable condition.

Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you.

Your refund will be paid within 30 days of the date of cancellation provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us or our suppliers in the condition they were in when delivered to you.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods to us or our suppliers, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

Returned goods received in a damaged condition for any reason will not be accepted for restocking.

A restocking charge of between 15% to 33% will apply in all cases unless it is agreed that the return forms part of an exchange for an alternative purchase.

This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault. In the unlikely event of goods being delivered faulty or damaged, these will be collected and exchanged free of charge.

Please check goods immediately upon arrival and notify us within 3 days of delivery

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way.

If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
