For several weeks my wife Tina visited numerous tile showrooms in a vain attempt to find an authentic grey/black flagstone appearance for our kitchen floor.
On returning home I searched the internet for “interior flagstones”, and that’s how we came to find Mark at “Farmhouse Flagstones”. The Classic Ebony was exactly what Tina had been searching for.
The flagstones were installed by our local builder, and Mark was always happy to provide the advice and experience needed to complete that “old farmhouse kitchen” appearance.
We have a unique product, manufactured by a great craftsman, who provides outstanding service at a competitive price.

"Just a quick email to let you know how impressed we are with the “Flagstones” now that they have been sealed and waxed.
They are lying next to some slate flagstones that must easily be several hundred years old – it is absolutely impossible to tell the new from the old – good work!"

"I found both the product quality and service offered by Mark at Farmhouse Flagstones superior to other suppliers. The fact that the flagstones can be colour-matched to existing stonework made the product look extremely authentic and a good fit within a period property. The finished product has the appearance of genuine 200yr old stone but with the benefit of easy fitting and the potential to use under-floor heating for extra cosiness.
Even though we are based at the other end of the country, Farmhouse Flagstones ensured delivery of our stones was on time and at an extremely reasonable cost. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who was after that authentic period look for their home, without the hassle and extra cost of sourcing real stone."

"It's a very rare thing to find a unique product, quality workmanship and excellent personal service at such a competitive price.
As part of a refurbishment and extension of our C18 cottage, we wanted a quality and totally authentic look for our floors both inside and out, as well as being compatible with underfloor heating.
The "Old Mill" flags we chose surpassed our expectations in all these areas.
However it was the attention to detail and level of service that really set Farmhouse Flagstones apart from other flooring suppliers we considered.
We couldn't be more delighted with our choice".

"In this day and age of dreadful customer service and terrible after sales care, it has been remarkably refreshing to find a company like Farmhouse Flagstones. From the moment we enquired about the suitability of the flagstones through to the last day of advice when laying them, Mark has been thoroughly professional and remarkably helpful throughout. Never did it seem like the reams of e-mails we sent were too much and he answered every one promptly and with fabulous ideas and advice. He even sent more flagstones to us when some were broken in transit – a joy to deal with!!!
With regards to the product itself, every single person who has walked into our (nearly) finished kitchen have commented on the stylish but rustic look that the flagstones have created. They have been easy to work with and look SO good. It is hard to believe that we were considering a slate floor when these are warmer, better finished and much more original.
Mark and Farmhouse Flagstones are clearly passionate about their product and with every right. They are individually made and have that personalised look about them, with each one having their own pattern, thickness and colour. We are extremely pleased with our Old Mill flagstones and genuinely believe that we couldn’t have found better flooring if we had tried. Thanks Farmhouse Flagstones and Mark - a great company."
